My first camera was a Nikon D70, a gift when I started studying journalism. It went everywhere with me: press assignments during the week, weddings on weekends, every trip in between.

In 2007 a run of drive failures wiped out almost everything I’d shot. What’s left of the digital years is here, sorted by place. These days I shoot film on a Leica M6, and every frame is a negative I can hold.
